Java is truly a great place to visit especially when you are on a vacation. Candi Mendut (Mendut Temple) is used by Buddhists to celebrate the Waisak day in a grand manner on every full moon day and the devotees from Indonesia and other parts of the world attend this ceremony.
Its architecture has the shape of a square. The roof has stupas on it. The other attraction includes the klewer market it is an old market place which sells all kinds of fabrics. Some of the other traditional fabrics include lurik (hand-woven striped cotton cloth) and tenun ikat. There are hundreds of shops present here.
